The body of a woman who died in Japan was returned to Uzbekistan on August 1. The information was reported by the Dunyo news agency.
It was noted that, by Resolution No. 252 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to further improve the system of organized employment of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad,” the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan and the Migration Agency provided practical assistance in covering the costs related to the repatriation of the body, as well as purchasing air tickets for the deceased’s two minor children and her spouse.
A consular officer from the embassy provided organizational support in transferring the body of the deceased citizen onto the flight and assisted the family members returning to Uzbekistan at the airport.
It is worth recalling that earlier, the body of a citizen who died in Russia, along with his wife and one child, was returned to Uzbekistan via the Kaliningrad–Moscow–Tashkent route.
