4 boxers from Uzbekistan takes the lead in the updated WBA ranking

Four boxers from Uzbekistan have taken the lead in the updated WBA rankings. The World Boxing Association (WBA) has announced an updated ranking based on the results of October. In the rankings, four representatives from Uzbekistan have claimed the top spots in their respective weight categories.


In total, seven representatives from Uzbekistan have secured places in the new rankings. Muradjan Akhmadaliyev, Shahram Giyosov, Israil Madrimov, and Otabek Kholmatov are the leaders in their respective weight classes.


WBA Ranking:


- Khasanboy Dostmatov (minimum weight) - 2nd place
- Muradjan Akhmadaliyev (first welterweight) - 1st place (he was 2nd in last month's ranking)
- Otabek Kholmatov (lightweight) - 1st place
- Batir Akhmedov (super lightweight) - 7th place (he was 6th last month)
- Shahram Giyosov (middleweight) - 1st place (he was 2nd last month)
- Israil Madrimov (super welterweight) - 1st place
- Bektemir Melikoziyev (super middleweight) - 6th place (he was 7th last month).


We would like to remind you that earlier it was reported that Otabek Kholmatov will be fighting for the WBA belt in the lightweight category. He is set to compete for the championship against the American boxer Raymond Ford.
