Anvar Khusnutdinovich Umarov, the manager of the General Department of Improvement under the Tashkent city administration, was released from his post.  The acting mayor of the capital Bakhtiyar Rahmanov signed a decision on this.

According to the decision, Anvar Umarov expressed his desire to resign from the position of manager of the General Department of Improvement.

For information, in November 2021, Anvar Umarov was appointed to the position of manager of the General Department of Improvement under the Tashkent city administration.

It should be noted that Muzaffar Abdurahmanov, the assistant of former Tashkent city mayor Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev, also left his post.

Earlier, on 16 January this year, Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that he fired Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev, the former mayor of Tashkent, at a meeting on the supply of energy resources held in the presence of the President.  He stated that Artikkhojayev had not adequately prepared for winter despite the warnings.

Bakhtiyor Rahmanov, who is working as his first deputy, was appointed to the post of acting mayor of Tashkent city instead of Ortiqkhojayev.
