3 more Uzbek boxers advance to World Cup finals

On the night of April 5, the semi-finals of the World Boxing Cup, organized by the World Boxing Organization and held in Brazil, took place, and three Uzbek boxers advanced to the finals.

In the -55 kg weight category, Mirazizbek Mirzahalilov defeated Jose Felipe of Guatemala.

In the -80 kg weight category, Javahir Ummataliev overcame Dias Molzhigitov of Kazakhstan and earned the chance to fight for the gold medal.

In the -85 kg weight category, Akmaljon Isroilov defeated Polish boxer Jakub Straszewski and advanced to the finals.

Today, April 5, the final bouts will be held, with seven Uzbek boxers entering the ring to compete for gold medals. Asilbek Jalilov will kick off the participation of the Uzbek team in the finals at 23:00 Tashkent time in the -50 kg weight category.
