Residents of the Fergana valley advised to wear masks outdoors

Today, November 5, strong winds are expected across several regions of Uzbekistan, according to Uzhydromet.
It was reported that in certain parts of Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, wind speeds may reach 13–18 meters per second.
“We ask residents and guests in these areas to take necessary precautions,” the report said.
Uzhydromet emphasized that during such weather conditions, citizens should limit outdoor activities and wear masks when going outside.
It is worth noting that Uzhydromet had also issued similar warnings on November 3 and 4 about strong winds and dust storms expected in various regions of Uzbekistan.
