A reaction was expressed regarding the high salary of the managers of the Uz Test and the limited salary of the employees

QALAMPIR.UZ previously reported on the large pay gap between Managers and employees of the "Uzbekistan Scientific-Testing and Quality Control Center".  In response to this article, the agency refuted the claim that the monthly salary of lower-level employees is limited.

The report stated that a working group, formed by the agency's management, conducted an investigation into the reported cases.   According to the group, all the data collected on the salaries received by the center's management in January-February has been submitted to the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan for legal evaluation.  The group also stated that they did not find any evidence confirming the alleged salary restrictions on the center's workers.

In an official statement, it was confirmed that the salaries for the month of April were paid on the 6th of April, while advance payments for April were made on the 17th of April, and a Ramadan bonus was paid on the 19th of April.  Additionally, monthly reward payments for the end of March were made on the 27th of April.

At the end of the statement, it was emphasised that spreading unconfirmed information that discredits the Director General of the Technical Regulatory Agency of Uzbekistan will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.  The agency's press service further assured its readiness to cooperate with all media outlets and social networks to clarify information as needed.

However, the agency did not provide clear information regarding the accuracy of reports on the monthly salaries received by the accountant and head of UzTest.  When QALAMPIR.UZ reached out to the agency's press service for clarification, it was revealed that a working group had collected relevant documents on the managers' high salaries and submitted them to the General Prosecutor's Office for a legal assessment of the situation.  It has been reported that the prosecutor's office is currently conducting an investigation.
