Uzhydromet issues urgent weather warning

Today, October 27, strong winds and dust storms are expected in several regions of Uzbekistan, according to Uzhydromet.
The agency reported that during the daytime, wind speeds in some areas of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Navoi region may increase to 13–18 m/s, accompanied by dust storms.
“We ask residents and visitors in these regions to take necessary precautions,” the report said.
Uzhydromet also advised citizens to limit outdoor activities and wear masks when going outside in such weather conditions.
