The center of hydrometeorological service issued urgent information and warned the residents of different areas in 6 regions of Uzbekistan about avalanches that may be experienced within 5 days.
Due to occasional precipitation and changes in air temperature expected on January 5-10 of this year, in the mountainous regions of the republic, including:
Kashkadarya region: in Kitab, Shahrisabz, Qamashi, Dehkanabad districts;
Surkhandarya region: in Kumkurgan, Sariosia, Uzun, Boysun districts;
Jizzakh region: in Zomin, Bakhmal districts;
Tashkent region: in Ohangaron, Bostanliq districts and Chimyon mountains of the Chotkal ridge;
Namangan region: in Pop district;
Fergana region: A risk of avalanche is announced in Sokh, Fergana districts.
