Head of “Uzbekneftgaz” becomes the chairman of another organization

The head of Uzbekneftgaz company Bahodir Sidiqov was elected as the chairman of the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee.
According to the source, Bahodir Sidiqov was elected as the new head of the federation at the report-election conference of the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan on May 8.
Before that, the sports organization was headed by Mehriddin Abdullayev, who also headed Uzbekneftgaz until March 2023.
Mehriddin Abdullayev's application to leave his post at his own will was approved at the report-election conference. Abdullayev also managed the company "Uzbeknftgaz" from January 2020 to March 2023, after which he was appointed the deputy chairman of the Accounts Chamber.
