The Uzbekistan national football team’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup are estimated at 83%, according to “Football Meets Data.”
The platform evaluated the qualification probabilities of teams in the Asian region’s 3rd round of World Cup 2026 qualifiers. Japan leads with a 100% chance, followed by Iran at 99%, South Korea at 98%, Uzbekistan at 83%, Australia at 66%, and Iraq at 63%.
Additionally, Jordan’s chances are rated at 35%, the UAE at 16%, Bahrain at 12%, Saudi Arabia—despite participating in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar—at 11%, and China at 8%.
