More and more people are buying houses in Uzbekistan. This was reported in the statistics of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms.
According to him, the number of real estate transactions in July of this year was almost 25,000 – this is 5.5% more than a month ago, and 22.7% more than the same month last year.
According to the data, the largest increase was recorded in Andijan with the amount of 19.5 percent. After that, Syrdarya (16.8 percent) and Jizzakh (16.5 percent) regions took the 3rd place.
According to estimates, housing prices continued to rise in the secondary real estate market in July. In particular, since the beginning of 2023, their average price has increased by 13%. The biggest increase (4.5%) was observed in February. In this month, compared to the same period last year, prices increased by 23.3%.
