The purchase of foreign cars has doubled among Uzbekistan people

Between January-April 2022, Uzbekistan imported 12,017 cars worth $280.4 million from 21 foreign countries. The State Statistics committee reported this.
Imports of light vehicles have increased by 6,113 or 2 times compared to the same period last year.
Volume of car imports by months:
• January - 3037;
• February - 2911;
• March - 2560;
• April - 3509 ta.
In 4 months, Uzbekistan was the largest importer of cars from:
• China - 6,100;
• South Korea- 2971;
• Kazakhstan - 1849;
• Russia - 848;
• USA - 80;
• UAE - 47;
• Japan - 45;
• Germany - 31;
• Thailand - 10;
• Hong Kong - 10 ta.
