It became known where Uzbeks traveled the most

As of 1 November of this year, 4.4 million citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan travelled abroad for tourist purposes.  This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.

It appears that Uzbeks travelled mostly to Kyrgyzstan as tourists.  The amount was 2151.8 thousand people.

The breakdown of the following countries is as follows:

Kazakhstan - 870,000 people

To Tajikistan - 615.2 thousand people

To Turkey - 264,000 people

To Russia - 210.3 thousand people

In the UAE - 98,000 people

In Saudi Arabia - 54,700 people

To Egypt - 31.9 thousand people

South Korea - 19,200 people

13.9 thousand people to the USA

8.5 thousand to India

7.8 thousand people to Georgia

It should be recalled that on 19 September 2022, at a meeting dedicated to measures to further increase the potential of domestic and foreign tourism under the chairmanship of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President suggested solutions to 6 major problems in the field of tourism.
