Uzbek athletes win $100,000 at Russian TV show (video)

Uzbek athletes Mark Rogailov and Gavhar Mirzaeva triumphed in the "Games Without Borders" show on Russia’s TNT channel, securing a prize of $100,000.

In the final round, Rogailov and Mirzaeva faced off against the Russian team, crossing the finish line first to claim the victory.

“She is very strong and deserves a lot of praise. We worked hard for this victory and showed the result today,” said Rogailov expressing his gratitude to supporters and praising his teammate, Gavhar, for reflecting on the win.

"Games Without Borders" is a major international competition featuring athletes from Russia, China, Iran, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Brazil, India, and Kazakhstan. A total of 64 athletes participate in each season, with 16 representing Russia. Competitors pair up to vie for the grand prize—a champion's cup and 10 million rubles.
