The 7th round of the 45th World Chess Olympiad concluded in Budapest, Hungary, with notable performances from the Uzbek teams.
In this round, Uzbekistan's men's team achieved a convincing 3-1 victory over Ukraine, while the women's team triumphed over Greece with a score of 2.5-1.5.
As a result of these wins, the Uzbek men's team climbed two spots in the tournament standings, now occupying 3rd place. The leading Indian team faced a strong challenge from China but emerged victorious with a score of 2.5-1.5.
Looking ahead to the 8th round, the men's national team of Uzbekistan will compete against Serbia, while the women's team is set to face the USA.
