The women's national team of Uzbekistan secured a spot in the finals of the saber fencing event at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. In the quarter-finals, the team, composed of Zaynab Dayibekova, Guliston Perdibayeva, and Paola Pliego, emerged victorious against Singapore with a score of 45:32. They continued their winning streak by defeating China in the semi-finals. Zaynab Dayibekova's last-minute heroics clinched the victory for Uzbekistan.
