A female Uzbek judoka takes part in an international tournament

The "Grand Slam" judo tournament will be held in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, between 16-18 February this year. Gulnoza Matniyozova, a member of the Uzbekistan women's national team, will also participate in the competition. This was reported by the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan.
Gulnoza Matniyozova will defend the honor of Uzbekistan in the -70 kg weight category.
The coaching staff is preparing the men's and women's national teams for the "Grand Slam" tournament, which will be held in Tashkent from 3-5 March. Therefore, the main attention will be focused on the competition held in Uzbekistan.
For information, more than 400 athletes from 56 countries are expected to participate in the tournament hosted by Israel. A judoka who wins in her weight class will get 1000 points for the world ranking, and 500 points for Paris-2024.
