It is found that powerful drugs are imported into Uzbekistan

The illegal entry and distribution of 5,412 high-potency drugs on the territory of Uzbekistan, with a retail value of 686 million soums on the black market, have been halted. This information was reported to QALAMPIR.UZ by the Rapid Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its regional divisions.

According to reports, following a series of rapid search operations conducted within the republic's borders, a 39-year-old individual residing in the Fergana district was apprehended for attempting to sell 600 units of "Regapen" and 200 units of "Tropikamid" that he had brought from Kyrgyzstan to the city of Kokand.

Furthermore, a Nekciya-2 car, driven by a 51-year-old resident of Kuvasoi who was involved in the transportation of potent drugs from the Fergana region to Tashkent city, was intercepted and inspected. During the inspection, 476 units of "Tropikamid" were discovered, leading to the arrest of two 33-year-old Tashkent residents and a 25-year-old citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Additionally, arrests were made when 42-year-olds living in the Samarkand region, specifically in the Bulungur district of Chilonzor in Tashkent city, along with 32-year-olds with previous convictions, attempted to bring 2,992 units of "Zardeks," potent drugs, into Tashkent city with the intent to sell them.

Simultaneously, in the Pakhtaabad district of Andijan region, a 37-year-old and a 28-year-old were apprehended while attempting to sell 1,087 units of "Tropicamid" for 11,000 US dollars. Further quick-search activities revealed that one of the arrested individuals had an additional 57 units of "Tropikamid" potent drugs at their residence.

In total, the criminal activities of 9 individuals have been halted, preventing the distribution of 5,412 drugs with a retail value of 686 million soums on the black market within the republic's borders.

It is worth noting that in a previous incident in Fergana, individuals were apprehended for selling potent drugs. A resident of Margilan city had sold 588 drugs containing psychotropic substances for 2,950 US dollars, and another individual had been caught selling potent drugs, with the thief found in possession of 3,348 drugs valued at 6.1 million soums.
