Iran suffers key losses ahead of match against Uzbekistan

Today, March 25, Iran will be without several key players for its match against Uzbekistan. According to the Iranian publication "Varzesh3", defenders Ramin Rezaeian and Mohammad Mohebbi will miss the game.  

The source reports that "Esteghlal" defender Razbeh Cheshmi will miss the eighth round due to injury, having suffered a muscle strain during training. Additionally, national team striker Mehdi Taremi is also injured and is likely to miss the match against Uzbekistan.  

Meanwhile, Mohammad Mohebbi will be unavailable due to a suspension after receiving a yellow card in Iran’s previous match against the UAE in the seventh round.  

For reference, the Iran-Uzbekistan match will take place today, March 25, at Azadi Stadium in Tehran. The match is set to begin at 21:00 Tashkent time.  

Earlier, it was reported that 200 fans from Andijan traveled to Tehran to support Uzbekistan in the match.
