It was reported that 146 citizens died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Uzbekistan since the beginning of 2022.  This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is noted that more than 90 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning were recorded in the republic this year.  As a result, 146 citizens lost their lives.  50 people were injured in various degrees.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs requests strict compliance with safety rules when using coal, firewood, oil products and other types of fuel.  Do not use non-standard or non-certified heaters and ovens.  If you smell gas, immediately call the short numbers 1050 and 102,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

Earlier, it was reported that 3 people from one family died of carbon monoxide poisoning in Kashkadarya and 3 people died of carbon monoxide poisoning in Tashkent region.
