2945There have been reports circulating about the creation of a new airline, "GAB Airlines," which was said to be operating flights using Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft. However, these reports have been officially denied. The Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan has clarified that no such airline has been established.
According to the agency, in order to engage in any activities related to the use of aircraft in civil aviation, a legal entity must first obtain an aircraft operator certificate from the "Uzaviatsiya" Agency. This process is in accordance with the requirements of the Air Code of Uzbekistan and the Law on Licensing, Permitting, and Notification Procedures. Only after acquiring this certificate can the entity obtain the status of an airline and have the legal right to conduct air transportation operations.
"The organization calling itself 'GAB Airlines' has not yet submitted an application for an air operator certificate or provided any documentation confirming the purchase or lease of aircraft to the "Uzaviatsiya" agency," the report stated. Therefore, the claims regarding the creation of the new airline are unsubstantiated at this time.
