Average wages in Uzbekistan double compared to 2021

69583The average monthly salary in Uzbekistan has increased by 18% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The data shows that the average nominal salary during January–March 2025 amounted to 5,796,100 sums. Compared to the same period in 2021, this figure has nearly doubled, reflecting steady wage growth in the country.
Tashkent city recorded the highest average salary — 9,889,100 sums — followed by Navoi region with 7,330,900 sums and Tashkent region with 5,435,600 sums. On the other hand, the lowest average monthly wage was seen in Kashkadarya region at 4,079,800 sums.

It should be recalled that in 2024, the average monthly salary in Uzbekistan rose by 17.4% compared to 2023. The average nominal monthly wage in 2024 was 5,357,000 sums, up from 4,562,000 sums in 2023.
