Graduates of family orphanages in Uzbekistan are now eligible to apply for entrance exams to the legal technical schools of the Ministry of Justice under a special additional quota. This follows the adoption of the government resolution "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Connection with the Improvement of the System of Material Support for Persons in Need of Social Protection and Social Protection of Children with Disabilities."

As per the new amendments, children of individuals registered in the "Unified Register of Social Protection" information system, as well as graduates of Mercy Houses, Children's Towns, Family Children's Homes, persons with disabilities, and children with disabilities, who successfully pass the entrance exams, will be admitted to study on state grants under additional admission quotas established by law.

This decision is aimed at further strengthening the educational rights of children with disabilities and promoting foreign language learning among them.
