Uzbekistan will introduce a digital platform that provides simple and convenient answers to citizens' everyday questions. This initiative was outlined in the presidential decree issued on April 21, addressing the implementation of priority tasks for improving the anti-corruption system.
The decree specifies several key measures aimed at preventing corruption in the economy, including:
- Holding officials accountable if the price of purchased goods and services significantly exceeds the allowed market deviation.
- Implementing anti-corruption international standards and conducting competitive analysis of major auctions for large investment projects starting July 1, 2025.
- Expanding the “Shaffof Qurilish” national information system, with its gradual integration into international organization projects.
By the end of 2025, further anti-corruption measures will be implemented:
- Subcontractors for international tenders will be selected through Shaffof Qurilish.
- Local tenders financed by international financial institutions (up to $2 million) will be conducted via Shaffof Qurilish.
- Foreign contractors involved in international tenders must complete at least 60% of the contract value using their resources.
By January 1, 2026, a new public rating system will be introduced for government services, allowing citizens to evaluate local administrations, ministries, and agencies. Officials from institutions that receive poor ratings will be held personally accountable.
Additionally, a mobile AI-powered platform will be launched, enabling users to receive instant and user-friendly responses to common daily questions.
Earlier, the presidential decree of March 26 announced that starting June 1, 2025, monetary rewards for winners of international science olympiads will be increased fivefold.
