Honorary title “Honored Entrepreneur of Uzbekistan” will be established

Today, August 27, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis considered the draft law "On the Establishment of the Honorary Title of Entrepreneur of the Republic of Uzbekistan" during its meeting. This information was reported by the press service of the Legislative Chamber.

The draft law proposes the creation of a distinct state award to introduce a system for recognizing business representatives who have achieved significant results in various fields.

Under this draft law, the honorary title "Honored Entrepreneur of Uzbekistan" will be established, and its legal foundation will be reinforced through amendments and additions to the laws "On the Establishment of Honorary Titles of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "On State Awards."

Deputies indicated that the adoption of this draft law would enable a systematic approach to rewarding business representatives who serve as exemplary models in creating new jobs, introducing innovations, exporting, training skilled specialists, and achieving high results across various sectors of society.

Additionally, the establishment of this title aims to highlight and assess the contributions of entrepreneurs to national development, recognize those who have achieved significant accomplishments and actively engage in addressing societal issues, attract the public—especially the youth—to entrepreneurship, and foster increased interest in business.
