Tashkent city leads all regions of Uzbekistan in life expectancy at birth, reaching 76.8 years. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

As of 2024, the average life expectancy at birth across the country stands at 75.1 years. The lowest figures were recorded in Syrdarya region and the Republic of Karakalpakstan, both at 72.2 years.
