As of January 1, 2025, there were a total of 10,244,241 families in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Statistics Committee reported.
The number of families by region is as follows:
- Republic of Karakalpakstan – 499,417
- Andijan region – 946,450
- Bukhara region – 615,418
- Jizzakh region – 370,967
- Kashkadarya region – 911,917
- Navoi region – 307,744
- Namangan region – 834,796
- Samarkand region – 1,082,846
- Surkhandarya region – 740,005
- Syrdarya region – 251,415
- Tashkent region – 913,510
- Fergana region – 1,177,396
- Khorezm region – 580,823
- Tashkent city – 1,011,537
It is worth noting that earlier, it was reported that during the first quarter of this year, 9,063 families in Uzbekistan divorced.
