President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has tasked the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Digital Technologies with launching a single emergency number "112" and a dispatching system to handle all urgent and emergency services for the population. Sherzod Asadov, the press secretary of the head of state, informed about this.

It is reported that this system must be launched in Tashkent from January 1, 2024, in the valley regions by July 1, and in all districts and cities by the end of the next year.

As part of this initiative, the activities of duty units will be fundamentally revised.

The Ministries of Internal Affairs and Digital Technologies were also instructed to start the "Social situation" information system, which aims to digitalize social and criminal problems in each region, district, and mahalla within two months.

A single register of social problems that cause public dissatisfaction will be formed, and the relevant authorities will be directed to address these issues.

Moreover, from now on, regional and district heads of internal affairs will report on the crime situation to district and city councils at least once a month.

We would like to remind you that earlier, the President fired the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of 15 districts and 5 district prosecutors.
