Rain forecasted for Uzbekistan at the beginning of the week

Uzhydromet has released its weather forecast for October 21-23.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, the weather will be partly cloudy with rain expected in some areas on October 21. No precipitation is forecast for October 22-23. Winds will shift from the west to the east, blowing at 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 13-18 m/s in some areas on October 21-22. Temperatures will range from 2-7°C at night and 12-17°C during the day on October 21, dropping to 0-5°C at night and 10-15°C during the day on October 22-23.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, partly cloudy skies and scattered rain are expected. Winds will change direction from east to west, blowing at 7-12 m/s, with occasional gusts of 13-18 m/s. Temperatures will range from 10-15°C at night and 17-22°C during the day on October 21, and from 8-13°C at night and 12-17°C during the day on October 22-23.

Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions will experience partly cloudy weather with no precipitation on October 21, followed by rain in some areas on October 22-23. Winds will shift from east to west at 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 13-18 m/s in some places on October 22. Temperatures will range from 10-15°C at night and 20-25°C during the day on October 21, and from 8-13°C at night and 12-17°C during the day on October 22-23.

In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will be partly cloudy with no rain on October 21, but rain is expected in some areas on October 22-23. Winds will shift direction and blow at 7-12 m/s, increasing to 13-18 m/s in some places, and dust may occur on October 22. Temperatures will range from 10-15°C at night and 20-25°C during the day on October 21, reaching 17-22°C on October 22 and 15-20°C on October 23.

In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, no precipitation is forecast for October 21-22, but rain is expected in some areas on October 23. Winds will blow from the east at 5-10 m/s. Temperatures will range from 7-12°C at night and 21-26°C during the day on October 21, decreasing to 12-17°C on October 23.

In the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan, no precipitation is expected on October 21, but rain is forecast for October 22-23, with possible heavy rain on October 23 and snow in high-altitude areas. Winds will shift from east to west at 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 13-18 m/s in some areas on October 21-22. Temperatures will range from 7-12°C at night and 13-18°C during the day on October 21, and from 3-8°C at night and 6-11°C during the day on October 23.
