20 agreements were signed between Uzbekistan and Turkey

During the third meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, signed a joint declaration to enhance their comprehensive strategic partnership. This information was released by the presidential press service.

Additionally, 19 agreements encompassing various areas of multilateral cooperation were signed in the presence of both leaders. These include:

An agreement on scientific exchange and collaboration in high technologies.
An agreement on enhancing cooperation in regional development.
An agreement on standardization cooperation.
A protocol on technical assistance for Uzbekistan's WTO membership.
A declaration on cooperation in space sciences, technologies, and research.
A protocol on agricultural education cooperation.
A protocol on energy development cooperation.
A protocol on cultural cooperation.
A protocol on information cooperation.
A protocol on cadastral issues cooperation.
A declaration on tourism cooperation.
A declaration on cooperation in supporting the family institution and women.
A protocol on management personnel training cooperation.
A protocol on legal training cooperation.

In addition, bilateral agreements on preferential trade, energy market regulation, and a plan to expand agricultural cooperation were also concluded.
