2009Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have launched joint special-tactical training exercises at the "Forish" mountain training ground in Uzbekistan's Central Military District. The Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan reported that.
This collaboration, titled "Hanjar-2024," brings together military personnel from both nations.
The opening ceremony featured a parade with the flags and anthems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Following the ceremony, leaders of the Kazakh military delegation met with Uzbek officials to discuss the training program. The ten-day camp will focus on sharing expertise through various practical exercises. Military personnel will engage in live-fire drills, combat simulations in urban areas, and action analysis exercises as part of the "Hanjar-2024" program.
It’s worth noting that Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan recently conducted the "Cooperation-2024" exercise at another training ground in Jizzakh, further strengthening their military collaboration.
