Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan call for a cease of the war in Ukraine

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and Kyrgyzstan Foreign affairs Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev held a meeting in Antalya, Turkey.
The press center under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that the meeting was held yesterday, 11 March within the framework of the second «Antalya Diplomatic Forum».

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of the international and regional agenda. With regard to the situation surrounding Ukraine, the parties unanimously agreed on the need to urgently reduce tension, cease hostilities and return to the negotiating table to resolve the conflict through political and diplomatic means.

The representatives of the two countries also discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation and the ways of further strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
