Uzbekistan draws with Oman

On August 30, the Uzbekistan national football team played to a 1-1 draw against Oman in the opening match of the CAFA Nations Cup 2025.
The match took place at the Olimpiya Stadium in Tashkent. Oman’s Ar-Rahvani opened the scoring in the 4th minute, while Hajimat Erkinov equalized for Uzbekistan in the 55th minute.
Eight national teams are competing in this year’s CAFA Nations Cup, with matches being held in Tashkent and Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Uzbekistan will face Turkmenistan on September 2 and Kyrgyzstan on September 5 in its remaining group-stage matches. The winners of each group will advance to the final, scheduled for September 8.
