Uzbekistan announces support for Jordan

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has expressed support for the leadership and people of Jordan in light of the complex situation in the Middle East. This was reported by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, on his Telegram channel.
According to Saidov, he held a telephone conversation with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi. The parties exchanged views on developments in the region and their impact on stability and security.
“We conveyed the sincere support and solidarity of His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the leadership and people of Jordan,” Saidov said.
The conversation also emphasized the importance of resolving all emerging issues strictly in accordance with international law and exclusively through peaceful, political, and diplomatic means.
Earlier, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences to the people of Qatar, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates and conveyed support to the Sultanate of Oman in connection with the situation in the Middle East.
