Uzbekistan is looking to strengthen its partnership with the incoming U.S. administration as part of its 2025 state program, currently under public discussion.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been tasked with fostering close cooperation with representatives of the new U.S. administration and arranging high-level visits by the end of 2025. The initiative reflects Uzbekistan’s intent to deepen ties across various spheres, from diplomacy to economic collaboration.

The program also emphasizes Uzbekistan's active participation in the "C5+1" format, which facilitates dialogue and cooperation between Central Asian nations and the United States. Planned activities include ministerial meetings, working group sessions, and preparations for the format’s 10th-anniversary summit, scheduled to take place in Samarkand.

The draft outlines plans to expand inter-parliamentary cooperation by organizing visits to Uzbekistan by prominent U.S. Congressional members. Additionally, the country aims to attract American investors by hosting business forums, exhibitions, and other events, further bolstering trade and investment links.

The program highlights the importance of enhancing security cooperation with the United States, signaling Uzbekistan’s commitment to building a multifaceted partnership with its transatlantic ally.

This initiative underscores Uzbekistan’s proactive approach to strengthening ties with key global partners and advancing its foreign policy agenda.
