Uzbekistan Republican commodity exchange welcomes new chairman

Asadulla Urolovich Kayumov has been appointed as the Chairman of the Management Board of the “Uzbekistan Republican Commodity Exchange” JSC. This announcement was made by the press service of the organization.

Appointment Details: According to the report, Asadulla Kayumov was appointed based on a decision by the Supervisory Board of the joint-stock company. He replaces Ziyoviddin Bositovich Badriddinov, who had held the position since 2019 and was recently appointed Director of the National Energy Efficiency Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers.

Asadulla Kayumov was born in 1984 in the Surkhandarya region. He graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in 2007 and Waseda University in Japan in 2013. Kayumov began his career in 2007 as a leading specialist at the Competition Development and Consumer Rights Protection Committee. He later rose through various roles, including senior specialist, deputy department head, and department head, until 2017. From 2022 to 2025, he served as Deputy Chair and First Deputy Chair of the Committee.
