4266The Republic of Uzbekistan has expressed deep concern over the rapidly escalating situation in the Middle East. A statement regarding this issue was published on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the statement, further escalation could significantly increase security risks and threats across the broader region, potentially leading to unpredictable consequences for the entire international community.
"We urge all parties involved to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could further escalate tensions," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in its response.
The statement reiterated Uzbekistan's call for urgent measures to resolve the conflict peacefully, by international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions.
It is worth noting that earlier, the press secretary of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahror Burhanov, condemned an attack by the Sudanese army on the residence of the UAE ambassador in Khartoum, labeling the attack as unacceptable. Burhanov also stated that the Ministry is closely monitoring the increasingly tense situation in the Middle East.
