3268According to " Ranking.kz, " based on IMF data, Uzbekistan has been ranked 123rd in the global artificial intelligence (AI) readiness index compiled by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The index, which includes 174 countries, evaluates factors such as digital infrastructure, human capital, technological innovation, and legal regulations. Data from sources like the World Bank and the International Labor Organization were used in the analysis.
In Central Asia, Kazakhstan leads with a ranking of 48th, followed by Kyrgyzstan at 99th and Tajikistan sharing the 123rd spot with Uzbekistan. Turkmenistan was not featured in this rating.
Globally, Singapore, Denmark, and the USA are the top three countries in AI readiness, while the Central African Republic, Afghanistan, and South Sudan occupy the lowest ranks.
This ranking underscores the need for Uzbekistan to invest in digital infrastructure and human capital to facilitate the integration of AI technologies in its economy and society.
