Uzbekistan and Serbia sign 12 documents

Today, on October 28, following the talks held in Tashkent, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic signed a Joint Declaration. The press service of the Uzbek leader reported this.
In the presence of both leaders, a ceremony was also held to adopt a package of intergovernmental and interagency documents, including:
- Agreement on the Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments;
- Agreement on Economic Cooperation;
- Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Medical Services;
- Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism;
- Agreement on Cooperation in the Fields of Education, Science, and Culture;
- Agreement on Cooperation in Engineering, Advanced Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, and Related Fields;
- Memorandum on Cooperation in Training Diplomatic Personnel;
- Program for Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2026–2027;
- Memorandum on Cooperation in the Field of Labor Migration;
- Memorandum on Cooperation in Sports and Physical Education;
- Agreement on Establishing Partnership Relations between the Cities of Tashkent and Belgrade.
It is worth noting that earlier at the Kuksaroy residence, an official welcoming ceremony was held for Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit. The two leaders also held talks with the participation of official delegations.
