Uzbekistan's delegation finished in 13th place overall at the XVII Paralympic Games, hosted by Paris.
The delegation achieved its best result in history in terms of medal quality, securing 10 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals, for a total of 26 medals.
Germany and Canada, which ranked higher than Uzbekistan, also won 10 gold medals. However, these countries took 10th and 11th place respectively due to their higher number of silver medals.
Uzbekistan's delegation is set to return to the country today, September 9. The plane carrying the delegation members is expected to land at Tashkent International Airport at 6:00 p.m. local time.
