According to the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA), Uzbekistan's Olympic football squad is set to engage in a friendly match against New Zealand.

Under the leadership of Temur Kapadze, the team will face off against New Zealand in Nice, France, on July 18. Additionally, ahead of the New Zealand match, the team, known as the "White Wolves," will undergo training in Tashkent and engage in a practice match against Mali from June 7-10.

These matches are part of the team's preparations for the Olympics. Uzbekistan's Olympic squad will kick off their campaign in the Paris 2024 Olympics against Spain on July 24.

It's worth noting that the President of Uzbekistan previously shared his thoughts on the Olympic team, expressing his disappointment following Umarali Rahmonaliyev's missed penalty in the U-23 Asian Cup final, which kept him awake for three consecutive days.
