According to the source, the friendly match will take place on June 1, 2026, in the Canadian city of Edmonton, shortly before the start of the World Cup.
For reference, the Uzbekistan national team has been drawn into Group C at the World Cup, alongside Portugal, Colombia, and the winner of the playoff between Jamaica, Congo, and New Caledonia. Uzbekistan will begin its World Cup campaign on June 17, 2026, with a match against Colombia. The next fixture is scheduled for June 23 against Portugal, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, followed by the final group-stage match on June 27 against the playoff winner.
