6465The leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan held a briefing for media representatives. In it, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that the held talks have once again confirmed his willingness to comprehensively develop and enrich bilateral relations, to give them a qualitatively new practical content.
As we previously reported, contracts worth $8 billion were signed between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Among the adopted documents, the agreement on the demarcation of the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan state border, which fully completed the legal formalization of the borders between the countries, is very important.
“This is a truly historic event. There is no doubt that our borders have always been and will remain the territory of true friendship and good neighborliness,” said the President of Uzbekistan.
In addition, the signing of the Treaty on Alliance Relations was the most important result of the visit.
Also, an Inter-State Council at the level of heads of state is being formed.
“With this, we have confirmed our readiness to actively support each other, to stand firmly shoulder to shoulder in the face of the dangers of the times,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
