Uzbekistan to compete in Asian Winter Games with largest-ever squad

The 9th Asian Winter Games will take place in Harbin, China, from February 7 to 14, with Uzbekistan fielding its largest delegation in history, according to the press service of the Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.  

A total of 24 Uzbek athletes will compete across six sports, marking a significant milestone for the country in winter sports.  

This edition of the Asian Winter Games will be the biggest ever in terms of both the number of sports and participating athletes.  

List of Uzbek athletes by sport

- Short track: Daniil Eibog, Denis Airapetyants  
- Speed skating: Danila Semerikov  
- Alpine skiing: Medet Nazarov, Arman Gayupov, Nikita Gorkovsky, Sabina Rezhepova, Valeria Kovaleva, Ksenia Grigorieva, Maria Morozova  
- Ski mountaineering: Mohinur Aralova, Feruza Bobokulova, Ezoza Shaimardanova, Asila Shoyimova, Jasur Shamsiddinov, Maksudkhon Akobirov, Shohrukh Sardorov, Ezozbek Khushvakhtov  
- Figure skating: Ekaterina Geinish, Dmitry Chigirev, Niginabonu Jamoliddinova, Sevinch Rakhimova  
- Biathlon: Rolan Raimkulov, Dilmurod Abdurakhmonov  

The opening ceremony of the Asian Winter Games is set for February 7, with Uzbek athletes set to begin their competitions on the same day.
