Uzbekistan national team lost 23.11 points after its results at the World Cup and dropped 10 places in the updated FIFA world ranking. This can be seen in FIFA’s online ranking.
After an unsuccessful performance at the World Cup, Uzbekistan’s ranking fell significantly. The national team lost all three matches in the group stage and failed to earn a single point. This also had an impact on the FIFA ranking.
According to the updated ranking, Uzbekistan lost 23.11 rating points and, with 1,409.73 points, dropped 10 places from its previous position to 60th. As a result, Uzbekistan fell to seventh place among Asian teams. Saudi Arabia and Qatar overtook Uzbekistan in the ranking.
Argentina currently leads the FIFA ranking, followed by France in second place and Spain in third.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan lost 1-3 to Colombia, 0-5 to Portugal and 1-3 to the Democratic Republic of Congo in Group K of the 2026 World Cup, ending its campaign at the group stage.
For reference, the FIFA ranking will be officially updated on July 20 this year, after the conclusion of the World Cup.
