Uzbek diplomas to be recognized in Germany under new cooperation talks

On April 1, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Shohrukh Gulomov, met with a delegation of experts from Germany in the fields of education and migration. This was reported by the Ministry's press service.

The delegation included directors of regional chambers of commerce and industry in Germany, as well as heads of investment companies established by GP Günter Papenburg AG.

During the meeting, several promising areas of cooperation were addressed:

• Implementation of joint projects aimed at teaching Uzbek youth advanced technologies and subsequently placing them in employment at German companies.
• Granting privileges to German specialists to carry out professional activities in Uzbekistan.
• Recognition of Uzbek diplomas in Germany, along with the inclusion of Uzbek universities and vocational colleges in the ANABIN database managed by Germany's Ministry of Education.

Previously, on September 15, 2024, during Olaf Scholz's visit to Samarkand, an agreement on migration partnership between Uzbekistan and Germany was signed and approved.
