Uzbekistan Airways has canceled one flight bound for Israel

The cancellation affects flights HY301/302 from Tashkent to Tel Aviv and back, specifically for today, April 15. This information was communicated by the airline's information service.

The decision to cancel this particular flight is attributed to airspace closures over select Middle Eastern nations, coupled with the aviation authorities of Uzbekistan prioritizing flight safety.

Passengers who need to rebook their tickets for the April 15, 2024, flight HY301/302 or seek refunds without penalties are advised to reach out to Uzbekistan Airways Sales branch or its overseas representative offices.

Notably, Iran deployed over a hundred unmanned drones and numerous missiles towards Israel on April 14. Although Israel's military reported intercepting most of them, Tehran claimed to have "successfully destroyed" Israel's targets. Following the Iranian assault, it was revealed that the UN Security Council and G7 leaders would convene to discuss the unfolding situation.
