New manager was appointed to “Uzbekistan Airports” JSC

On June 20, Javlonbek Oybekovich Umarkhojayev was appointed chairman of the board of JSC "Uzbekistan Airports," according to the company's press service.
The appointment was made based on a decision by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the sole shareholder of the company.
Prior to this, Umarkhojaev had been serving as the acting chairman of the board since August 9, 2023.
Javlonbek Umarkhojayev began his career in 2008 with Uzbekistan Airways. From 2009 to 2018, he led the aviation security department at the National Aviation Agency. Between 2018 and 2021, he served as deputy head and technical director of the capital construction directorate for the "Tashkent-Sharq" project at JSC "Uzbekistan Railways."
From 2021 to 2023, Umarkhojayev was the first deputy chairman of the board of "Uzbekistan Airports," overseeing operational activities.
