The leading players of the Uzbekistan national football team, including Oston Urunov, may not take the field in the upcoming match against the UAE, part of the third round of the World Cup qualifiers. This information was reported by the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association.

According to the source, Urunov has been diagnosed with a minor injury. His participation in the match against Iran was also in question; however, he ultimately played in that game.

It’s worth noting that earlier reports indicated that Uzbekistan national team defender Rustam Ashurmatov would also miss the match against the UAE. Ashurmatov received a yellow card during the game against Iran, preventing him from participating in the upcoming fixture.
