By 1 September of the current year, a draft document will be submitted to the government, which provides for the simplification of requirements in the catering and retail trade sectors and measures to support entrepreneurs in these sectors.  The project will be prepared by the Ministry of Justice.  This was stated in the decree of the president of Uzbekistan "On measures to introduce an effective communication system with business entities and further strengthen their legal protection" adopted on 27 July.

According to the decree, the "business.gov.uz" portal was transformed into the "Entrepreneur's Virtual Office" portal.

Through the portal, businessmen's appeals will be received and resolved around the clock, and these processes will be monitored.

From 1 August 2022:

a) A) applications will be submitted to the portal by:

• entrepreneurs;
• "Call-center" service under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
• Representative for protection of entrepreneurs' rights (Representative);
• governor’s (khokim) assistants;

b) appeals will be sent automatically or by the representative to the relevant authorities for consideration and resolution;

c) competent bodies review the appeals and enter information on the results into the portal;

d) The representative establishes digital control over the procedure and term of consideration of appeals and applies appropriate measures of influence in cases of violations of the law.

Every year by 1 March, the representative submits an annual report to the president on the state of compliance by state bodies with legislative documents on the protection of the rights and interests of entrepreneurs.
